Teaching License from Missouri to Texas: Does It Transfer? (2026)

A teaching certificate transfers from Missouri to Texas by endorsement — there is no automatic reciprocity, but you do not start over. Apply to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) - Educator Certification, verify your Missouri license, and meet Texas's endorsement requirements.
