About this site
licensereciprocity.com answers one question professionals ask every time they move:does my license come with me? The answer lives scattered across fifty-one board websites, compact commissions, and PDFs that contradict each other — so we built the interactive layer that reads them all: the Reciprocity Checker, the Compact Map, and a state-by-state guide library, every fact cited and dated.
Who maintains it
The site is built and maintained by Billy Reiner Inc.. Content verification is led by Billy Reiner (Editor): Verifies every reciprocity fact, fee, and requirement against the official state licensing board or interstate compact commission, and dates every page. We are a data-and-tools publisher, not a licensing authority, a law firm, or a school — we sell nothing on this site and provide no licenses.
What makes the data different
Two rules. First, primary sources only: every reciprocity fact traces to a state licensing board, a compact commission, or the governing statute — never to prep-school blogs, which routinely publish inflated reciprocity lists. Second, dated honesty: every page shows when its facts were last verified, and when a board publishes no fee or timeline, the page says "not published" instead of inventing a number. The full process is on the methodology page, and every source is listed at /sources/.
What this site is not
Not legal advice, and not a substitute for the board. Licensing rules change — compacts activate, fees rise, agreements die. Treat every page here as a verified, dated map, and confirm the final details with the official board linked on that page before you act.
